Global Chief Marketing and Distribution Officer
Grégoire Champetier, the Global Chief Marketing and Distribution Officer for Accor, is in charge of developing the company’s design strategy and marketing endeavors, with purview over the hotel giant’s brands including Ibis, Sofitel, Novotel, Mercure, and others. He’s the man for the job, boasting a varied background that helps him understand travelers of all types. He began his career with the Organizing Committee of the Albertville Winter Olympic Games in 1992. Since then, he has worked several advertising agencies in a variety of positions. He also worked for the McDonald’s Group, eventually becoming the Senior Vice-President for France and the Southern Division. He also was the chairman of Publicis Activ, a network of regional tourist agencies.
He joined Accor in January 2011. He graduated from ESSEC and I.E.P de Paris. He also has a law degree.
