Emily Scott brought both strong marketing and tech experience to KAYAK, the travel search site co-founded by former Expedia, Travelocity, and Orbitz co-founders. Since joining the team, Scott has focused on reinventing the company’s search marketing efforts, and she was involved in the 2012 decision to partner with Kenshoo to try to increase KAYAK’s SEM performance.
Previously, Scott worked for the Search Marketing team at Yahoo! and started her career doing pharmaceutical SEM at Razorfish. This solid background in online marketing with an eye for data has helped her at KAYAK, where she combines first- and third-party audience data to help improve KAYAK’s targeting.
